Ms. Shoji-Lee is currently Executive Vice President, Operations of TriSummit Utilities (TSU), a position that she has held since 2023.  She has over 35 years of experience in both the natural gas and electric utility sectors in British Columbia and Ontario, as well as in the energy service sector.  Her energy utility career has included executive positions at Union Gas Limited (now Enbridge Gas Distribution), British Columbia C Hydro and Power Authority, Canadian Utility Construction, Britco LP, and Pacific Northern Gas Ltd., and TriSummit Utilities. Leigh Ann is accountable for the operational alignment, effectiveness and growth of TSU’s business units. In October 2018, as part of the initial public offering of AltaGas Canada Inc., she was given the added responsibility of EVP, Utility Operations for ACI, in addition to her responsibilities for PNG.  ACI’s utility businesses include: Pacific Northern Gas Ltd; AltaGas Apex Utilities Inc. (Alberta) and Heritage Gas Ltd.Eastward Energy Inc (Nova Scotia), Pacific Northern Gas Ltd (British Columbia), ENSTAR Natural Gas (Alaska), and Bear Mountain Wind (British Columbia).  She is accountable for the operational alignment and effectiveness of ACI’s utility business units and is also responsible for the strategic leadership of PNG.

Leigh Ann is a professional engineer and holds a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto. On February 5, 2019, Leigh Ann was announced as the Chair of the Board of the Canadian Gas Association. She is the past Chair of the Canadian Gas Association and currently serves as National Organizing Committee Chair for IGRC2024 to be held in Banff, Alberta, Canada. 

As the natural gas utility in the Prince Rupert area, PNG was pleased to construct the pipeline to provide natural gas service to the RIPET project.
